Bookmakers Update Predictions for Eurovision 2026: Finland Leads, Ukraine Loses Ground
Ahead of Europe’s main music competition, bookmakers’ analysts continue to adjust their odds. For Ukraine, the latest updates have not been very encouraging: the country has dropped one position in the list of potential winners, moving from sixth to seventh place. As of February 18, the probability of a Ukrainian representative winning Eurovision 2026 is estimated at just 4%.
Finland currently remains the top contender for the crystal microphone—experts assign it a 12% chance of victory. Greece is breathing down Finland’s neck with an 11% probability, while Israel rounds out the top three, with its chances estimated at 9%.
The top six favorites also include Sweden (8%), while Italy and Denmark share the fifth and sixth positions, each with roughly a 6% chance. Looking beyond the top seven, Ukraine is immediately followed by entries from Bulgaria, France, Cyprus, and Malta.
However, experts remind readers that current odds are merely a snapshot of bettors’ sentiment at this moment in time. The situation on the betting market is extremely volatile. The figures will change rapidly as all songs are released, the first rehearsals begin, and, of course, once the semifinals and the grand final of the contest get underway.
- taras.korolv.26Mar 4, 2026This is complete nonsense—bookmakers are just guessing again. Let’s see who really crushes it in the live performances! Ukraine will still show its class; it’s way too early to write them off.
- jealkongMar 5, 2026The Finns always send some kind of weird stuff—where does that 12% even come from, lol 🤡
- lu5caaaaaaaaMar 6, 2026Last year I also bet on the favorites and lost a lot of money. This year I’ve decided not to touch these bets at all. Eurovision hasn’t been about vocals and songs for a long time—it’s about politics, freaks, and spectacle. Whoever wears more feathers ends up on top.
